A family store since 1959
In 1959, Graham and Valma Burden opened a store in a tiny 10-by-20-foot “bunkhouse” with just $1,500 to their name. Today all nine of their children work together in the business, keeping the shelves stocked and the door open for neighbours, fishers, and travellers alike — over sixty-five years and counting.
